What leaves your browser, and what doesn’t.
- We see the terms found on a page and the site it’s on (like example.com), never the full address, path or page title.
- Signed out, nothing leaves your browser except a health check.
- The only page text we receive is up to 300 characters around a term, and only when a meaning is looked up.
- Snippets are sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to suggest a meaning.
- Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them.
- Any website can keep Senseline out with the
data-glossary-ignoreattribute.

- Does Senseline come with a glossary?
- No. Your team writes its own, so every meaning is the one your company uses.
- Can my team’s admins see what I do?
- Admins can see which terms people come across and how often, including the sites where they were found. They can’t see which pages you visited or what those pages said.
- Does it work on every site?
- On most. Local files stay off unless you turn them on, and any site can opt out with
data-glossary-ignore. Senseline never runs on senseline.io or senseline.app. - How do I delete my account?
- Email privacy@senseline.io from your account address. We delete your account and data within 30 days.
